Re: IRONTON (21-2) VS MARTINS FERRY (14-8) PREVIEW
Itown will be up for the challenge. I watched them handle bigger kids from the team in North Carolina.
The question is can Martins Ferry handle Ironton?
I expect it to be close for the 1st half but the. Itown will pull away and win by 18 pts.
If LaFon has them full court press from the start of the game it could get really ugly early. It could end up like the North Adams game.

North Carolina wasn't that much taller. Zac is actually taller than #31 for them.

Tigsfan, I am confused as to why you made that statement and then used the article from the Herald Dispatch that stated "Ironton was outsized by nearly four inches at every position"? Sounds kinda like a contradiction to me

wow!!! is it just me or was THAT preview "hard to read" ??? ... I do however appreciate the information on Martin's Ferry's lineup ... 8 losses? doesn't bode well for MF no matter their size ...

You can catch all of Ferry's game on video on WTOV9.com or WTRF.com
Ferry has a good chance of winning this game if they continue to pound it.

He might be a little small to play in the post for a D1 team. He has the jumpshot but I'm not sure he has the quickness to play on the wing.playa_44 wrote:Ironton by 20. Anyone know where Fletcher is going to college? He has to be getting alot of D1 looks.?

[Be great to see Martins Ferry continue winning.
PURPLE RIDERS don't have a lot of depth, but they will play a slower tempo, or at least try. I'm not MFHS fan, but you gotta like the tournament run its on.
