I went to the Trail/Caldwell game and the skins played really well tonight. They out-hustled Trail all night. They might of had four or five guys in double figures. I thought Trail would be better than that.

Outstanding performance by Caldwell. Got up big in the first quarter and never let off the gas. Weichman reached the 1,000 point mark in this game, and did so efficiently. Didn't force to much, and the players around him got hot. Baker, Figel, Clark, and Harding all hit multiple 3's in the game. Toland wasn't much of a factor it seemed like, although he did take a spill in the 3rd I believe, so that didn't help out. Starr hit a couple 3's and #10 (Doudna?) had a couple nice drives, but defensively they just couldn't stop Caldwell. Course it's hard to when they're hitting outside shots that well. I'll post some stats once I can find them. Congrats to Caldwell on the win.

Also, at one point I heard Trail's coach tell his guys not to play any help defense, as Wiechman and Clark proceeded to go right by them. Not one of the smarter coaching decisions i've saw.

Saw several Shenandoah people at the Caldwell game tonight, so i'm guessing it was. I'm not 100% sure though.

Trail couldn't stop them tonight. Baker controlled the glass. Caldwell shot threes well. Trail hasn't lived up to expectations. What confused me was Trails coaching tonight. How do you let them impose their will like that? T. Starr had a few threes, Doudna penetrated well and Toland had around 10 points for playing half the game. No clue why he didn't play more.

If Caldwell can play like this all year they will be good. They passed the ball well and got everyone their shots and proved that they can be more than a 1 man team. They out hustled and played trail. Game was never close. I was just stunned at how bad trail is. Clearly this puts Caldwell number 3 in the PVC as they are no doubt way better than trail. I wouldn't be surprised if trail gets beat at least once by Frontier/River or Shen.

Like I told people Trail has no guard play. You guys might think Roe and Beaver were overrated but the made big key shots. I remember a few months ago people were acting like Fort Frye was not the favorite and would take a step back I'm telling you now they are better. They get out and go and don't have to wait on Shon to run offense. They get easy buckets on steals and back cuts.

redskinwitness, Caldwell played very well tonight and played exactly like I said they would have to play to be successful. They shared the ball and didn't rely on one person. they played well as a team and got "Everyone" their open shots and played good defense. I would like you to explain to me how Caldwell has a "program" in basketball though. Guess all it takes it to have 1 winning season and you have a program. And I would love to see Caldwell win the PVC and take one away from Fort Frye/MC but I am realistic and know that is not going to happen unless they play as a team all year. with a name like redskinwitness and how cocky and arrogant you are. I would have to say you are probably, well I cant say on here who you are but Maybe you can teach me how to dance in the end zone and get unsportsmanlike penalties too since I know nothing about sports!!!!

I never thought Roe was underrated but Beaver did struggle his senior year. I am just shocked that they are that bad.

Roe always drained big shots @ Trail vs the Cadets. Warriors only beat Cadets 1 time with Roe.

Technically, any school that fields a team has a program. We get it, for whatever reason, you don't like Caldwell and that's fine. Nobody on here is claiming that they're going to be the next FF or anything like that, but the potential is there for a successful season. And yes, the community is going to support them. Everyone is a little biased towards their school, just ask Eastern. But to get on here and take shots a kids that put their time, effort, heart, and soul into a game that they love so we as fans can come watch, well, tells me all I really need to know.
