Valley is at Eastern Pike tomorrow and goes to Wheelersburg on Friday.

Two good indicators for valley. If valley wins both I can see them being a regional contender.

Games this week (12/7-12/12) in the OVC
Monday, December 7
GIRLS: Fairland at Ironton
I know this is a boys forum but this is a matchup worth mentioning here between two premiere programs in southern Ohio. The Lady Dragons have been to back-to-back Final Fours and the Lady Tigers boast at least one future D1 Player. This should be a dandy game tonight.
Tuesday, December 8
All Non-Conference Games
Ironton St. Joe at Rock Hill
Huntington St. Joe at Chesapeake
Coal Grove at Raceland, Ky
Wednesday, December 9
Ironton at Spring Valley, WV (Non-Conference)
Friday, December 11
Coal Grove at South Point
Gallia Academy at Chesapeake
Ironton at Ashland (Non-Conference)
Saturday, December 12
Rock Hill vs. Meigs (at Rio Grande)
BIG E CLASSIC AT FAIRLAND HS
Chesapeake vs Athens
Fairland vs Trotwood Madison
It looks like some pretty tough out-of-conference games for the OVC this week with a little in-conference action sprinkled in as well. This will be a good test as most out of conference games will be against much larger schools or private schools.
That Big E Classic on Saturday (which may need its own thread, actually) looks to be a very good day of High School Basketball. In addition to the two games listed above, the Fairland Girls play Trotwood Madison, and the Huntington Prep team, who has one of the five top players in the nation, will be playing in the nightcap. Remember, Huntington Prep is where Andrew Wiggins played in High School. Here is a link to a story on Huntington Prep: http://www.maxpreps.com/state/basketbal ... rginia.htm
Another great week of basketball in the Tri State and in the OVC!
