Still though, congratulations to the Pointers on what was a historic season at SP. Good luck to Ironton in the play-offs. If we can't go on in the tournament, the next best thing is to see other Lawrence County teams do so.

UK sucks, but I agree with you. Even if not Lawrence Co., local teams on the big stage is awesome. I was rooting on Wheelersburg last year and found myself just as disappointed as an Ironton loss when they lost to N. College Hill.

I thought SP had an excellent team and gave the Tigers all they wanted. I hate that they had to meet up so soon. Wish we could've played @ the Convo. Your team deserved to make the trip. Mayo was impressive to watch and kept his cool. Tigers just played good team ball and passed it well with led to quality possessions. Also great coaching in not just focusing on Mayo. Great D by Mr. Green. Go Tigers and good luck next Sunday.

Better Beef up the Schedule. I would rather lose a couple reg season games, and be better prepared for the tourny. But 20 and 0 is something to be very Proud of.

Their schedule didn't cost them...Ironton playing a tough schedule and having a less than stellar record at the draw got them in the 8/9 matchup.

SP was the #1 and had to beat Ironton to advance
Burg was the #2 and had to beat Belpre

Now which would you rather play....Ironton or Belpre?

great win tigers, sp. was a very good team, nothing to be ashamed of. great year for them. the ref's were horrible in what they called and what they did'nt call, took the game away from ironton the first half. hope we do'nt see them again this year or ever , pitiful .

ironton 20 points better than SP??? not hardly...if SP played ironton 10 times SP would win 7 of them...it just so happened that ironton took this one

^^^^not if they don't up their intensity on defense......if each team played at the same intensity I'd take SP by 8-10

That's funny right there, heard the same thing from some Logan posters a few weeks back after we beat them.

Could the off night have been caused by Irontons Defense. It is hard to make alot of good shots when you have a defender in your face all night. Score 57-51.
Congrats to South Point on a great season.

GO TIGERS.........
