Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Jackson will win at Wheelersburg by 17?
Will need several Ironmen playing well to win....but by 17...not sure.

Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Burg will be the underdog in most games this year and will likely be starting at least 2 sophomores. The experience and size will definitely go to Jackson, but Coach Barrick will limit Jackson's possessions and give Burg a good chance to win. Burg by 6.

I'm not sure how you can predict a 17 point victory for a team who got rocked by a very average(and young) McClain team on Friday. It wouldn't surprise me if the Ironmen won though.

Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Hard for any team to go into the burg and win let alone paste them by 17, burg are small and young this yr, will they be shooting a lot of 3's?
Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Really not a need for that on here. How about we keep it about the kids playing?

Heard that Chapman had 15 and 13, and Eisnaugle was the leading scorer with 18.
Just caught that on the radio, so not completely sure if I heard it right.

Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Was there no one on here from the Burg that went to the game?
Did Burg slow it down or just couldn't shoot the ball very well?

Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
Burg started out shooting the ball pretty well. In the 2nd quarter, Burg slowed the game down and never really got back into any shooting rhythm from that point. You could feel the game just slipping away the whole 2nd half. The difference in the game is that Burg couldn't slow down Eisnaugle on the inside. They are going to struggle this year stopping big men on the inside unless they learn to double team and make teams beat them from the perimiter. I know Coach Barrick is a die hard man-to-man coach, but throwing a little more zone in from time to time may be necessary. Colt Chapman is a nice player and reminds me of Yates from Valley in appearance, size and style of play.yabbadabbadoo wrote:Was there no one on here from the Burg that went to the game?

Burg will improve as the year goes on .. They play great D and will keep themselves in many games come the 4th quarter
Re: Jackson @ Burg 12/6/11
the Burg is not the same as they used to be, they used to reload in football and basketball. No more, they just do not have the skilled kids like they used to have. Years ago they would have found a way to win this BK game.
