Let's hope this is not true. Chadwell has been a big asset to the program for years, plus he's good for a technical or two during the season ;-) Also, I think bullfrog has bumped his head and needs to jump back in the pond.

I have been told that Coach Chadwell has retired.

He will be missed.
Well maybe we can get him to Coach Baseball.
I heard THE ROCK was not coaching this this year.

sure will but i have heard that coach E is tough enough to fill in his shoes. i havent had a chance to hit up open gym with football going on but i am excited. some kids complain, but im glad we got a new guy that is not a push over. i am sure that he is not the kind to listen to the complaining parents either. from what i hear, he is going to make sure we win a lot.

How are you so sure about this? Coach E is stepping into a tough spot after Fed loses 4 starters from last year, and only has a couple players with varsity experience. I realize this is a site for opinions, but a least have a basis to stand on when you open your mouth.

Just my thoughts guys

If that were to happen it would be the first time ever. I don't see a kid scoring 6-10 points and getting 6-8 boards during summer games being our best player ever. He may have a good chance living with Coach Krazy, getting 24/7 drills. Maybe next year you guys can get a few more foreign kids who just happen to play ball. By the way, shouldn't you be in school?

Have not heard much about open gym, How are the boys looking? Can Fed Hock compete with the powers of the TVC.

Chad (soup) Campbell and Evan McCune are underrated and will be tough to compete with this year. both great athletes for the lancers. Federal Hocking undefeated.

I enjoyed seeing Chad play last year. (I hope I'm thinking of the right persosn). Small, muscular and determined.
McCune will be a nice asset for the Lancers as I think they will be height challenged if the Trimble line up is as big as I am hearing (reading).

Good Luck

Campbell is the best defensive player the lancers have. I don't see McCune doing too much, i'd say stanley will pull most of the load for the lancers on the inside game.

I meant Campbell was an asset because of his height. I guessed him to be around 6'1, and I remember the other Lancers as being smaller than him. I don't remember a Stanley, but only attended 4 or 5 boys games. As my screen name suggests basketball isn't my strong suit.

I've been a federal fan all my life, but I watched the scrimmage last night against Belpre and if the boys from Fed don't learn how to box out and rebound, they might as well close up shop because they'll be fighting for last in the TVC along with Miller.

fedhocker I agree, Lets give them a chance to gel. New coach, new system, and 2 nights of practice. Its the frist time these kids have played togeather in a few years. Belpre has a nice team, lots of speed and good size. Coach E will get these boys on the right track. He will evaluate last night and will see what he needs to work on. We have alot of nice players, and did see some positive things. It will just take a little time for everybody to get on the same page. These kids are winners, and it will all come togeather.

Way, way too early to even think about putting a fork in the Lancers and saying that they are done.....

And, once again, Koondogger has been holding onto the beer too long, and ignoring his dog. He's gone back to the "Just my brain farts guys" mode, after another instance of over-indulgence. :122246
