Chiefs fall to Heath, 77-59. Heath just didn't miss a shot in the 2nd half, then tried holding the ball the majority of the 4th quarter. Heath is a very good team though! Playing these tough game is really going to benefit Logan.

Game with Heath was closer than score indicated . Tied 38 to 38 early 3rd but Heath expanded lead to to around 10 and went into stall ball . Logan forced to foul . Heath with a real good shooting team but small . Logan schedule is tough but that's what you got WHEN YOUR LEAGUE IS ALL BUT GONE . Tough game Friday night with FU. Will be a real test for our bigs against their big. Look for a big crowd . Hope to see alot of Purple and WHITE ! Good luck to the Purple Gang!!!!!!

... I'll be in the Cheap Seats for this Chieftain Fan ... going to be a shooting contest between Myers of Logan and Thompson for FU ... it will be fun to watch as FU brings in its' own perimeter shooting arsenal in Luke Thompson, Hayden Price, Spencer Conrad and Brad Miller (in the game on Monday vs Sheridan FU went 9/19 from downtown) vs Logan's own weaponry from behind the arc - Bo Myers, Caleb Bell, Colton Dixon, Coby Bell ... it will come down to the boys in the paint Henthorne/Landis vs Colin Woodside ... strengthwise Henthorne matches up well basketball sense Woodside has the edge for sure - he's outstanding , has a motor that doesn't quit, he works hard at both ends ... Landis ? will probably have Thompson matched up on him inside - Thompson is a strong 6-3 body who likes to get physical at both ends - sort of like that running back who looks for someone to run over LOL - very good basketball player who has limitless range on his three ball it seems ... going to be a fun matchup !!!! I'm looking forward to seeing how going up vs Lancaster & Heath has helped the Purple ... they should grow in their "knowledge & skill set" vs those teams as well as Newark/Olengtangy or Elder for sure ...

I'll be taking in my first Logan game of the season on Friday night as I'll be back in town for the holidays, although I've listened to all of them on the radio, which I thank Scott Vermillion for doing!

... thanks Chieftain Fan - I hope that is true about bringing "interest with my insight" ... however about the "do not under estimate the appreciation (by the Logan folks)" LOL - I just recall last season when Scott Vermillion the game announcer for SAMFM asked if I would do a segment with him on the air at half time of one of the Logan home games - he was confronted by a Logan coach , asked why in the world he would have "pfloyd" on the radio? said that he(the coach) almost turned off the broadcast ... and added a few other negative comments LOL ... it is what it is - I will continue to support hoops ALL across Southern/Southeastern Ohio - I will always support the Purple & White ... I do have "insight" as to the teams, players, coaches I see - and I enjoy sharing with the boys high school hoops fans Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... I have made many many many acquaintances in the gyms of the 72 teams in the SouthEast District - parents, players, coaches, fans of the game, seopsters , radio personalities - all telling me they appreciate what I do for the kids, the schools, the TEAMS -" THAT'S "what makes it worthwhile doing all of the traveling/doing the game rundowns - I love it - wouldn't spend this time of the year doing anything else ! ...

Good run down on game Pfloyd. Nice to see your Purple and WHITE on you.One of the better defensive performance I' ve seen from the Purple Gang . Logans schedule does not get any easier with going to Newark next week. I've been told Newark one of the Elite D1 TEAMS IN THE STATE. Go Chiefs!!!!!!

Good win by Logan.Nerk has some very strong looking wins on their resume! Logan will have their work cut out and then some to stay in this one.They beat Dayton Dunbar by 26 points! Their closest game was against a very tough Reynoldsburg team by 4 points.Reynoldsburg beat Grove City by almost 20 points. Nerk probably in the top 2 or 3 in the Central.
