Vikes made 9 of 11 free throws down the stretch after going 3-6 in the first half. Clutch at the end. They were down 9 at one time in the fourth quarter.

Man, I was so frustrated after leaving the game - I got pulled over in Hamden for speeding ... lol ... I'm not one to really question things - like a teams strategy - but I'm still trying to figure out why Nigel Courts was on the bench for the entire 3rd quarter with only two fouls? Was the scoreboard wrong, was it his third foul that he picked up early in the 3rd?

I mean, this is your best player, a senior on senior night and he sits for an entire quarter when you had the lead and the momentum? I don't even care if it was in fact his third, Wellston already is locked into the No. 2 seed, they can't win a league title - go all out and try and win the game! They had VC on the ropes, they owned a 9-point lead and basically could have went for the jugglar ... Instead , they take their best player out of the game, make him sit for an entire quarter after already sitting through haltime ... He was the leading scorer when he was taken out - and ended the game with a total of 3 fouls ... I guess he gets to take those two extra home with him tonight.

Oh well, enough ranting ... lol ... Nice job Vikes - winners always find a way to win and good coaches aid in that matter ... Congrats to coach Combs and the Vikings on another TVC-Ohio title.

I go out the back of the school - take 93 to 160 and head over that way toward 32 ... It seems quicker ... I may not have actually been in Hamden - but heading toward it right?

All I know is - the highway patrolmen asked me if I knew I was speeding - I said "yea, I know, I'm still mad about seeing Wellston blow a nine-point and lose ... lol ... sorry about that officer!"

Living nearby there, I should've warned you about the "speed trap" of Hamden Nice little place, but can't fly coming over the hill.
