I have heard nothing but great things about him. If you read Trojandave, who knows everything there is to know about him since he coached at PHS, he has nothing but praise about his work ethic, practices, program and involvment in the pee-wee system. His post were during his active tenure there and even after he resigned as coach. This is what Minford needs. It is my understanding he will cont to teach at PHS and coach at Minford? Is this true?

I was talking with Clay's Jr. High coach Compton a little over a month ago, and he had talked with a school employee about the Jr. High boys job. I can't be sure, but I think he backed away from being considered at Minford after talking with coach Trainer. He has his faults, but I really like his style of preparation, and no excuse game handling at this level. Either way, somebody gets a good coach for Jr. High or J.V. boys basketball.
