Gray Fighting Tiger: The overall series standing between Ironton and Portsmouth is something like 80-58 in favor of the Trojans.......I'm not sure exactly how many games have been played, but I do know the series used to be around 75-40 in favor of PHS when I saw the number posted in a PHS game program a long time ago.

PHS had played Ironton more often by far than any other opponent.......Chillicothe is second with 79 games and Ashland (KY) is third with 74.

ALMOST GAME TIME
On the radio on WIRO 1230 AM
On the net: http://www.foxsports1230.com/pages/scores.html
Click beside the TIGER face down in the middle of the page.

Varsity Games are supposed to start at 7:30, but it's a triple header - FR, JV, V - tonight and they tend to run a little late for trhe Varsity START.
It's 7:15 right now, and the OSU/Northwestern game is on WIRO.
Whenever the JV game ends and the Varsity is 15-20 minutes from starting the feed will switch over from the OSU game to the Ironton Fighting Tigers game. I'm listening!!

AHA - MY CLOCK SAYS 7:20 - and the Ironton Fighting Tiger Countdown pre-game show just came on - pretty close to on time. I'll start a separate UPDATES thread.

AT THE HALF - IRONTON 33 - PORTSMOUTH 18
FINAL - IRONTON 60 - PORTSMOUTH 54

Don't be a Portsmouth hata...

Let me be clear about one think Tobias, I love you and yours. Congratulations to the Tigers on a big conference win. That is one multi talented team ironton beat tonight. The lights ever go on bright for PHS, and they will be nearly impossible to beat.
Good crowd. Felt like a rivalry and I loved to see that.
