I think its great chillicothe plays these type of teams from out of state. I would like to see some other teams around this area do the same.

This may very well be the biggest starting lineup in the world next year - maybe ever?

lol WOW...the two seven footers are brothers. Not very mobile but I guess you dont have to be at 7'4". Some teams around here dont have centers as tall as their point gaurd. I will deffinatley be in attendance for this one.

Is this schedule updated??? I heard that they moved a game on Saturday-1:45 game is Kiski Prep vs Huntington Prep and Northwest plays on Sunday???? Can someone please update schedule??

Tobias: Portsmouth plays Waverly on Sunday, Jan. 9th.......and I believe the starting time is 4:30........it also will mark the first game for Andrew Bendolph.

Coach Robertson told me the Portsmouth / Waverly game was now at 2:30p.m. on the 9th. This schedule has been changed and tweeked so many times I hope they have it all set now.

Pretty sure Kiski's tallest player is 6'9. The 7'4 kid transferred to Huntington Prep and I believe his brother graduated last year. Huntington Prep's lineup will be tall. I'm not sure who the starters are anymore with all the transferees.

Sim is a junior and Tanveer is a sophomore. Sim is playing for Huntington P.(Along with 6'9"/6'10" former Kiski teamate Stefan Jankovic) and Tanveer has tranfered to Montrose Christian(Maryland).

Sounds like a great bunch of teams and should be some good games. I still dont think it compares to when the event was held in Columbus. Im extremely glad to see games like this being held in our backyards but some of the best players, teams, and games I have ever seen when it was in Columbus. Im not knocking it since its been at Wellston. It just cant get much better, anywhere, than the years in the capital city. I cant stress enough that Im not putting it down the way it is currently. Coach Derrow and crew have a 1st class event. It was just an unbelievable day of hoops in those years. JMO

I spoke with a friend of mine who is the coach at Spring Valley High School in Huntington, and he said that Hunt. Prep is a great team. Should be 2 great games with them....Friday at 6:45 they play last year state champs from Indiana and they play Kiski prep on sat who has a Starting Lineup - 6'3" - 6'8"- 6'10"- 7'2"- 7'4"....

The only other teams in this area with comparible size are Vinton County and River Valley.

Huntington Prep is the real deal. Watched them this week in Ironton, they really impress me. They are a fun team to watch, and if you haven't saw them before you see them at Wellston, you will be very impressed.
