They play Ashland (KY), Logan Elm, Huntington High, Campbell Memorial, Cincinnati Taft, Chesapeake, Dayton Stivers, Portsmouth, Waverly, Columbus Mifflin, Wheelersburg, and on Senior Night...Huntington Prep.

Good luck finding something tougher than that.

Don't think it gets much tougher than that.

The kid from Bowman also looks like he is a beast on the court.

It just struck me as funny that they have 6 kids from outside the USA and the one from WV has 3 consonants in a row in his last name....LOL

You know, I am not one to ever complain about kids transferring. I think you should be able to go to school where you want. And I think that in general, those things tend to even out between schools over time. But when you have only one kid from the entire state on your team and no one from your town and half your team from another continent, you are not a high school team. You are a college team. I think there should be a rule that if you are a "prep" school like Huntington prep or Oak Hill academy or any of these Charter school that routinely takes kids from all over the world and put them basically on an athletic scholarship, you should have to play in NCAA division 2 or 3 or NAIA or somethin. It's not fair at all. I'm not against private schools(though they do have an advantage) or transfers amongst public schools, but that is just unfair.

Huntington Prep is a prep school and plays basically all prep schools. I don't know why they're playing Ironton, but they don't normally play regular high school teams. They played Rio's jv the other day and I'm sure they beat them pretty easily. These are D1 prospects, so playing NAIA teams aren't going to be much of a challenge to them. Teams like this give opportunity to kids from other countries who wouldn't normally have a chance to be seen by college coaches. Those Huntington Prep boys are a great bunch, too.

If Im guessing correctly he probably joined Huntington Prep after Mountain State Academy in Beckley folded. They were a prep school too and I highly doubt the kid is actually from WV with a name like that. :-D
