sportsfan se wrote::?: why does someone who is so miserable after every game continue to go to every game? the reason they loose the close games is not " the death weave" its because they dont do what it takes in the off season to get better !! you dont get better at basketball in the winter. they need to be tougher when the game is on the line. take care of the ball and make the free throws, the coach is not allowed to do this for them.

And the coach should also realize by now that these kids can't run his Death Weave and stall the ball for that lentgh of time and not try it. It isn't working so get rid of it. If he would just allow them to keep running the offense they would probably be better off and could possibly keep scoring instead of turning the ball over.

I do agree with you that a lot of the boys obviously didn't work on their games in the off season. Neither big man is very agile, strong, or have any hops and that's from not working out in the off season. I do know some of them played ball all summer, but not all of them.

Hmmm, who would have thought.

I think the "death weave" is one funny description of trying to run out the clock. Kinda like the prevent defense being called he "prevent you from winning " defense. funny stuffy.

I think it would be a classic chant from any opposing SOC school should Clay run this at the end of a quarter or game " Death Weave, Death Weave, Death Weave " LOL MD

MD, they will probably be chanting, "Thank You, Thank You" because it always lets the team that is down back in the game.

I have never understood why a team tries to stall with that much time on the clock, taking themselves completely out of rhythm.

Worst offensive set in the game. If you can't control the ball, all it does is let the other team to keep chipping at your lead while your team is not even looking to take a shot.
