Another fast start and slow finish by the young Lancers. Defense is suspect. Got to play the game for four quarters. Stay strong and stay focused. Offense looks confused too. Varsity basketball is stronger and faster. Young Lancers have to adjust up to the next level of play.

Belpre beat Federal Hocking 58-50 behind 17 points from Rashawn Miller and two clutch baskets from Trent Gainer late in the fourth quarter. The Lancers closed to within three points with 1:25 to go but couldn't complete the comeback from 12 points down. Ryan Rex shot 5-16 and scored 13 for Federal Hocking, and Chris Saylor grabbed 10 rebounds. Here's the Hardwood Heroes Game Recap
