Warren comes out with chip on their shoulder, takes care of business over a much improved Tiger team. Go Blue!

The Tigers are indeed much improved but tonight they ran into a buzz saw at the Warrior Dome. The Warriors blasted the Tigers 70-47. Michael Hall led a balanced Warrior attack with 19, Evan French had 14 and Blake Kidder chipped in with 10. Marietta's inside duo of Jon Wood game high scorer with 20 points and Braden Riley with 13 points were outstanding going to the rim and finishing plays in the paint for the Tigers.
Hall was a matchup nightmare for the Tigers. When they played a faster guard Hall scored on postup moves in the paint. When they switched Riley on Hall, the Tigers were forced into playing their best rebounder 20 feet from the basket. French rained down his usual barrage of 3's keeping Warren adead in the 2nd quarter and stretching the lead in the 3rd quarter.
Good win in this rivalry game. Student sections were loud and kids were having fun.

GO BIG BAD BLUE!

Sorry I am late but had to watch the Ohio State game.

Good win over Marietta tonight. IMO the pressure on the ball won this game along with the bench play. When coach Maddox had Maz, Henthoen, Kidder, Hall, and Patton on the floor in the 3rd that is some real speed on the floor and caused the Tigers fits. Kidder was getting to the rim and Hall and Patton were cleaning up the boards. Maz and Henthorn were doing what the do best, playing that hard nose defense.
Just too much for Ducks boys to handle. Jon Wood played a real good game for Marietta again IMO.
