Congratulations to Easter Brown , that defense is going to give anyone fits .
I agree Ironton will be a tough opponent they will pound the ball into carrico if he gets the ball down there he is really tough to beat good luck to both teams but I will be rooting for our ovc.

Re: (D3) #3 Eastern Brown vs. #14 Portsmouth - Sectional Final
Congratulations to the Eastern Brown Warriors and Coach Buechler and his staff.........EB was clearly the better team, but it didn't show until the 2nd half. The Trojans played a very good first 16 minutes, but then the offense barely had a pulse in the final 2 quarters. This game was exactly how Portsmouth played for a majority of the season.......one good half or quarter, then a complete turnaround in the other direction. The Trojans were just unable to overcome inconsistent play all year.......but I'm still proud of them and Coach Collins/staff for managing to get 10 wins.
Eastern Brown played pretty much the way I thought......not flashy, but a team that doesn't beat themselves. As biggdowgg said, Ironton will be a tough matchup for the Warriors because the Fighting Tigers are physical and athletic. EB will seriously be challenged on the boards by IHS. I look for a close, low scoring, defensive minded game. Good to see the OVC represented well at the district with 4 teams.
