Good effort from the Ironmen. Last night’s OT game in Unioto didn’t help the legs but no excuses. 2nd quarter wasn’t great energy but rest of the game I liked the effort. Freshman did some good things for sure. Campbell and Jarvis the brunt of the scoring.

Western Brown was hard to read. They are solid, seemed a little sluggish I thought. Long bus ride winter break…don’t know. Krall was a solid player, Novak can do it all. Kids know their roles. They’d compete in D2 SE real well

Western Brown would greatly benefit if they were D2. Even more so if they were D2 in the southeast. They are in the toughest D1 sectional in all of Ohio, arguably. We don't get to see them as much, unless they play Lynchburg, us (Hillsboro), Jackson, Eastern Brown or Greenfield. They seem to always have a good, quality team. They get punished by being D1 though. They are always 4-8 kids over the D2 limit in basketball. Their football team has competed the last two years in the playoffs, but they also have 7 divisions in football. I think their football team is also the biggest school in their region for football. Last year it was them and Chillicothe. Not sure on this year, since they moved back to southwest, away from us.
