Logan got things going 2nd Quarter for sure. This allowed Coach Rider to use his 6 and 7th player more. Big week coming up . Good luck to the Purple Gang!!!!!!!!!!

Some of those calls on Henthrone were comical.

The chubby ref in the freshman and JV game was calling breathing fouls.

Start of 3rd quarter started with 2 touch fouls on Logan and 2 questionable fouls on Corey. Logan played most of game without him.

Corey picked up two quick ones in the 1st and set the rest of the half. The same thing happen at the start of the third. One foul was close to a under cut.

The guards are doubling down to help Corey but in the process they are picking up fouls . It's hard to play an aggressive man to man and worry about foul trouble. You see a lot more motion offenses these days with a lot of switching going on . Years ago (many) Logan played a lot of Zones (1-3-1,2-1-2 or a 2- 3) and I hated it . Team chemistry on defense is getting better with knowing when to fight thru screens or recognize the need to switch. I love seeing a coach make defensive adjustments and try and stay ahead of the other team . That's the sign of a good coach and that's what I seeing in the Logan Coaching staff.

Final scores like that can be deceiving, plus them losing to Licking Heights would say otherwise. I'd guess that if they play well, Logan will get 2 wins this weekend.

Freshmen continue winning . Came from behind again . JV Loose. Varsity started off strong again . Played a lot in 2nd quarter without Corey and Cadin and part of Quarter without Bo . Foul trouble . Coach Rider went 8 deep(Caleb, Coby, Wes,Colton and Andrew Todd) Good job everyone . Defense and ball rotation was good again tonight. Balance scoring and a pretty physical game . Teays Valley comes to Jim'S GYM Tuesday . HOPE TO SEE A BIG CROWD. Nice to be back to .500. Go Chiefs!!!!!
