New Albany beat Pick Central which is the #6 Team in Div 1 . Last night PICK Central beat Newark which is rated # 2 . Game played at Pick Central.New Albany losses includes Newark (2) and Hamilton Bradley . They play a real tough schedule also.

Vinton County will be coming to Jim's Gym in Logan at the back end of a 3 game week as well ... IF the Chieftains are going to "get" a W vs the Vikings of Coach Combs - this is the week, the stars are aligned for a W as Vinton County has defensive minded Alexander team Friday night that will make VC work for EVERY point and then some ... Alexander having taken down Vinton County a couple weeks ago - should be a good game ! as will the game vs Logan on Saturday night ...

Logan will have a bye in the first round and will play the winner of Pickerington North and Marysville.

Pickerington North got the 9 seed and Marysville is the 34th seed so I assume it will be PNorth. Logan got the 31 seed. I think wins over DeSales and Teays Valley would of put us near 20. New Albany got the 24 seed and we beat them. Logan will host the #3 seed Hilliard Bradley Tuesday night in a regular season home game and then Warren Friday night. Their tourney game is March 3. Logan will have played 4 of the top 11 seeds in the central district.

Being young and playing this schedule should make next couple years very good. Pick North has size and quickness . They played Pick Central pretty tough but dropped 2 . Pickerington North has one of the central district's best players in junior Jerome Hunter. Four star recruit with offers from Michigan, Xavier, and UD. 247sports says he also has an offer from Ohio State, but ESPN doesn't list it.

PN used to be bad, but they're playing with one of their most talented groups in the school's ~14 year history. Their coach is good too. Will be a tall task for Logan, but Coach Rider will have them prepared.

I'm not too sure if Logan will ever crack the top 20 of seeding in the near future, although the increases in scheduling (competitively speaking) will definitely help.

Sure is a tough schedule, and we've been there in all of them. Go ahead and throw Elder in there too, in the D1 Southwest/West District, they're seeded #10. And if you want to include teams that are seeded higher than them in the D1 Central, include #28 Lancaster and #21 New Albany. DeSales is the #2 seed in the D2 Central district, to go along with Bloom-Carroll #6 in the D2 Central and Heath seeded #7.
