If your worst loss is to a team ranked higher than you, that tells me you simply have all "quality" losses. Saying "worst loss" doesn't mean he's calling them a bad team, nor does it mean the same as a "bad loss". That's just my interpretation.
Exactly! A good example up until Tuesday night would have been Waverly. They lost to Ironton #5, Warren #4, and Valley #7 all ranked ahead of them. So who do you want me to put down as their worst loss? You gotta go with Valley being #7.
I cant see calling a 14-2 team (Valley) that has not lost a conference game a bad loss. I dont see losing to the #1 team in the conference and a top 5 SEP team a "bad" loss. But I do understand the reasoning.
