Re: Clay @ New Boston Glenwood 2.10
I agree poor class displayed by clay posters consistently pointing fingers at officials and coaching and not who has to actually put the ball in the hoop and by that I mean sometimes the ball just don't Bounce your way. I want to point out all of this finger pointing is about a tough game that clay won. I want you to give this a thought before you post." It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove the doubt."

I thought it was in poor taste for a notre dame poster saying they hoped Clay gave gave Trainer a life time contract from the SOC 1. Why hasnt notre dame been in the hunt for the past several years they have loaded jr high programs keep reading they are undefeated for the past few years but what happed when they got in high school.
when getting drubbed change the argument ? whatever pal. And the comment on transfers and ND --what an idiotic statement -- ND has had very fine athelets transfer out as well as in --Hoover went to East in 09, D Smith is currently at NW, W Tolman went to Burg this year. Thats a few just off the tip of my tongue.
ND gets portsmouth transfers to "keep programs going" ??? would you care to name them ? I'll call you out right now - You can't because they are not any. What an uninformed bunch of crap . MD

as for foolish statements, this one ^^takes the cake.bucknutnut wrote:Kind of funny complaining about the blocked views but talking about bad calls. Also blaming accomplished coaches decision making. Thus proving my point , Incompetent excuses .
As for this years seniors, all I can say is they were used to winning under their Jr High coach and I guess we hoped that would continue. It doesn't take a genius to figure out it's parents and relative posting on here, who else really gives a darn. I still expect them to have a winning season this year and a good shot at the SOC crown. If you remember last years little winning streak they changed things up a bit.
When this group of seniors graduate, Clay is going to be back to where they were three years ago. I don't know why they are not letting a couple of their junior move down and play some JV ball as a couple of them haven't played at all, and the other are getting very few minutes, and that is your team next year.

b-nuts, I'm not leading anybody, and I support the school more than you know. I'm just a guy posting an opinion on a local website being read by about 10 people who can agree or disagree with me. Sorry you don't understand that simple concept. There is no revolution being started here. We are not marching with torches to the school board meeting. Bottom line for a coach is, you win - your in. That's another concept that evades eveyone. I, for one, hope they win.
BTW, where were all you "let the coaches coach" supporters when they ran Randy Ward out on a rail?

Okay, I have an idea. Let's have a contest to raise money for the boosters. All of the Trainer haters post their ideas on how the team should be coached, and at the end of the week, we have a moderator pick a top 2 of different views. All who post/vote pays $5 (price of admission) with the winner getting a chance to actually coach the team in front of everyone, not behind the keyboard of their computer. At the end of the year, the poster with the most wins can kiss the coaches hind parts goodbye. Then we'll see how you take having this garbage put out for all to see.

A better idea is that Trainer make adjustments that fits his team, they win and everybody lives happily ever after. As for this "garbage", as stated above, these are opinion (I guess they are garbage if they disagree with yours), and I think any coach at this level could care less what is being said, and Coach T has told me as much after getting scolded his first year by a parent of a departing senior.

Amazing! 51 post for one ball game at the start of the season in a h#$ hole gym. Just be thankful you have a good team that can win everytime they play.

I loves coach's . May be hard to believe but I stick my neck out for them when I can . But may I add that any coach who throws constructive critism out the window with a "I could care less " attitude because I'm way smarter than you better be winning a big majority of the time. Only winners get the latitude of being able to tell people to stick it. My opinion and 50 cents gets a cup of coffee to warm up with. Ok maybe a buck these days

Okay, so I get the opportunity to sit on the bench and not call a timeout when my team is struggling to get the ball inbounds or past the 10 second line and watch them turn the ball over.
I get to go in a halftime and not make any adjustments. Up until this year I would get to keep my team in the locker room for the entire half and not let them come out and warm up before the 3rd quarter starts, and still not make any adjustments, mind you.
I get to see my team build a 12 point lead and then go into a stall that only turns the ball over and allow teams to either come back and win or get right back into a game instead of just continuing to run the offense and score and put a team away.
Yeah, I can do that. Heck, even my wife could do that.
