SE isnt very good this year, they have shown signs of life from time to time...but Id like to throw a question out there for the other SEOP'ers....
Does Westfall always play that ,well ,for lack of a better term , dirty? They were the superior opponent last night, no question. But the taunting the extra curricular activity was above and beyond in my mind. One kid did get T'd up over it. Is this just an isolated incident or is this the norm in Williamsport? Just a question dont be hating....or do you attribute it to officiating? Please discuss....

I am pretty sure that Paint Valley is only 3-6 with wins over Southeastern and two wins in the Holiday Tournament at Williamsburg.

Between the fighting in the stands and the fighting on the court, this game was interesting to say the least. I don't believe that Westfall played any "dirtier" than their opponents. I think they were frustrated by the inequality of the fouls being called. At the half Westfall had 12 fouls to SE's 3. We have video of this game and it should be used as a training tool for up-coming Refs. ( how to spot a foul) Westfall players/fans were upset after seeing a SE player continuously tug on the jersey of a Westfall player going up for a rebound with nothing called. I was shocked at the officials lack of control of the game and based on a comment made by one of them at the beginning of the game, they were ready for the game to be over before it started. Maybe I am wrong, but I believe the Referee's could have controled this game much better, which may have lead to a cleaner game.

SickandTired. I was at that game. SE sat in a zone and Westfall pressed and played aggressive man to man. Usually in those type of games the fouls are one sided.
On another note....did I read the score right??? SE beat Piketon. I know Piketon has had a bad habbit of playing to there opponents level, but with the size and aleticism PHS has this should not happen.

OutofBounds- Yep, you read it right. A couple of things about the game though. It was at Southeastern, it's never easy to win there. Also, Southeastern had it's full roster for the 1st time all season.
They are going to be a tough win for anyone the rest of the season, IMO, especially at home. But, you are right, there's still no reason for Piketon to not win that game.
