Saw Ironton play Portsmouth last night. Ironton needs to step it up and play more consistently if they want to win this game. Dont turn the ball over!!

Coach LaFon said on the post game radio last night that Logan had agreed to play on Friday at Ironton's request due to Ironton's Tourney game on monday.

I heard something about it but didn't know if it was finalized.

I know myself and other Chieftainites would've rather play Portsmouth because of better drive!! O well though...that's what you get for being a part of the SEOAL--no nice drives!!

I also heard last night that Ironton-Logan was not a done deal......that Ironton and Portsmouth tied for second in the SEOAL South, and to my knowledge there may be a coin flip to see who plays who. I believe Warren won the coin flip over Logan when they played last night, since they tied for second in the North.

What Coach Lafon said if I heard him right was that Logan had agreed to play Ironton on Friday if indeed Logan is the opponent......IHS had been unable to contact Warren on this.....and the Ironton/Portsmouth tie situation had to be straightened out as well.

R.I.P.Sauerfield: Not to my knowledge, but I would assume that the matter will be determined today if not already.

Someone will probably post something tonight about who plays who.

Yes, but from Logan to Ironton you take St Rt 93 the whole way which is no fun at all for 2 and a half hours especially on a bus! From Logan to Portsmouth you take 23 almost the whole was which is MUCH better to travel on!

yes but at the time even lafon didnt know if Logan would be playing Ironton or not.

Logan agreed to play on Friday IF they was playing Ironton.
Portsmouth and Ironton had to do a flip of the coin too...so when our A.D. called Ironton for the flip, Irontons coach told him they wanted to play on friday, and Logan agreed to play them on friday...our coach already had plans to go see Zane Trace play,,,so they both agreed..Ironton won the flip, and would be playing Logan ..over the phone

I wonder with the flooding problems around the county if this game will be played at all. You know how Route 93 tends to flood in places.

Ironton let the game at Logan get away from them. Hopefully they will play all 4 quarters in this one.

Go Tigers :-D
