Also rumor that if Chillicothe makes it to the State Tourney then Gary may hang em up for good.

west will be having a new head coach next season as the football coach had to take over half way through the year----any word on when the school is going to be hiring a new coach

What happened to the coach @ west?

I heard that they might be trying to get rid of Ewing at Meigs. Why? Has any one else heard this?

If this is true, maybe they need to look into getting rid of the AD at Meigs.

I don't know about the principals' job but they need a coach. Hopper does a good job with one but not the other.

Why would Southeastern be looking for a coach??

I am pretty sure the West basketball head coach next year should be Charlie Kitchen. They say he did a wonderful job with the kids and I know he has the ability to DEVELOP a great program. Believe he is interested in teaching also. What an asset he would be to the West program, especially if he teaches also.

wing t- A force out or retirement are two very obvious ways. I hope Larry sticks around for a few more years though.

If Larry walks away on his own terms thats fine,BUT I can't understand why whoever would want to force him out after 1 bad season?? He has 500+ wins, Double digit league titles, and several successful tournament runs. Not to mention the players and coaches that have been apart of the program. Sounds to me like someones personal agenda is the root of this. The biggest thing I see is the kids will suffer for a decision made that has little to do with basketball or coaching. If this is all about wins why isn't the football program who have 3 wins in 3 years under the same pressure? This looks to me like a witch hunt by some of the administration and the BOE.

I keep hearing the rumor going around Waterford that Bobby Knight is gonna take the helm for the cats next season, but that could be all talk. I don't even know where that rumor came from.

I have heard that there is going to be an opening for all of the coaching positions at waterford!

Can you say power struggle at Southeastern!!
