Great game cavs. I had to watch 3 quarters on tv, and the last in class via jjhuddle. Just from the first 3 quarters i saw, chillicothe dominated the game, and i must say if they didn't turn the ball over half as much they would have been up 20+. Still an awesome defensive performance....Now get pay back against Libby Chillicothe hung with Libby last year until a horrific 3rd quarter. Good job cavs Both of Givens' in Oxford, are proud of you guys.
Go Cavs....
P.S. I loved the Student section for chilli. From TV they looked packed.

Great game Cavs! Deliver the 2008 Division II crown to the SEOAL and southeastern Ohio. Will be in the stands on Saturday with GAHS-4-Ever and other SEO posters.

I like Chillicothe to win the game, 65-58. I think they are coming in on a high, and hopefully the momentum will continue. The early start time hopefully will not effect the teams, I thought it hurt Libbey a little this morning. Hitchens and Chambers have to play one more huge game to cap their stellar careers off. Pineapple, you mentioned the student section. I for one, would have NEVER believed the city of Chillicothe, it's alumni, and students would have turned out en masse and been so vocal as they were today... you would have had to have been there to believe it. The other three D-2 teams did NOT hold a candle to Chilly's throng, and it's vocal support... what a sense of pride!!! Go Cavs!!!

im so proud of these kids.... just watching them grow these past 3 years has been amazing. i know you can beat libbey. lets get that STATE CHAMPIONSHIPbanner and proudly display it at the Hat. you kids have earned it! i hope this has made alot of chilli folks wake up and support them in the future!

I picked against Chillicothe and wanted them to lose but enough of that now. Go ahead and bring it home. You definitely deserve it! You earned my respect and silenced me against you!

oh no - i thought toledo libbey's student section was WAY bigger than chilly's-
but seriously, bufurd (mr.ohio) did not impress me at all today!!!!
yeah he had 22 pts or so - but they were ALL layups that his teammates generated for him!! make him shoot from 10 ft or more and it is brick city, just like most of his teammates....if chilly dictates tempo and plays their game - they CAN win this game...
good job by chilly against the press today - i see libbey packing it in on D and making chilly shoot from 15 and out... because libbey will be physical inside!

I have to agree with what swetpea said. I wasn't overly impressed with Bufors either. Like SP said, most of his points came in the paint against a much smaller Paris Graham team.
Don't get me wrong, he is a great player, but he just didn't show it today. He will more than likely have a player about his size and quickness guarding him on Saturday.

When Poland starting hitting all the threes at the end of the game, it got a little nerve wracking...but congrats to Chillicothe for getting into the state finals! Good luck on Saturday!
