Does anyone have the updated standings of both the Monday and Wednesday summer leauge teams? Thank you.

Anybody have the Jackson Wednesday league standings?I know GAHS split a pair last week, beating Jackson and losing to Piketon.

Gallipolis improved to 3-4 in the Jackson-Wellston summer league this evening by downing host Wellston 35-28 and Athens, 25-23. GAHS had 14 players available for the summer contests.

Gallipolis improved to 5-5 on the summer season this evening by turning back Minford, 38-31, and Meigs, 50-40.

The Blue Devils have won five of their last six outings. The Gallians still have three prospects on vacation.

No - These are the first round playoff matchups for the Wellston Summer League. the tournament is a double elimination format and will be played Tues

Alexander downed GAHS 30-16 and Vinton County tripped the Blue Devils 40-30 in the double elimination tournament at Wellston Tuesday evening.

The twin loss left Gallia Academy 5-7 in summer league action.

Wednesday, the Gallians take on Jackson and Minford in Jackson High's new gym.

In other tourney games at Wellston Tuesday, Athens ralllied from a 19-9 deficit to beat Wellston and the Bulldogs downed River Valley to improve to 10-2 on the year.

Wellston and River Valley were playing in the loser's bracket in the WHS junior high gym later Tuesday evening.

Alex defeated Athens in the winners bracket final.

The final four of the 12 teams in the league

5:00 Wellston vs Vinton Co - Loser eliminated

5:45 Athens vs Winner of game 1 - Loser eliminated

6:30 Alex vs winner of game 2 - Championship

All Ohio Division TVC teams remaining

Alexander and Vinton County looked tough in Tuesday's tourney games at Wellston. Spartans may win it all.

Alex defeated Vinton Co in the championship game to win the overall double-elimination tourney. Athens finished third and Wellston 4th in the tourney.
It was a very competitive Monday and Wednesday leagues. Great job by all teams.

Gallipolis defeated Jackson and Meigs in the Jackson summer league this evening to improve to 7-7 in summer league play.

In the first outing, GAHS tripped the Ironmen 49-27 and in the second contest, the Blue Devils rallied from a 44-32 deficit to win, 61-55.

Earlier in the evening, Gallia Academy's second unit held a 42-34 lead over South Webster's varsity with less than a minute to play, but dropped a 43-43 heartbreaker on foul shot with 6.5 seconds left.

Gallipolis dropped to 7-9 in he Jackson-Wellston summer basketball league at Jackson Wednesday evening, losing 45-30 to Piketon and 39-34 to Piketon.

GAHs managed just two of 12 free throw attempts in both outings while the Red Streaks were 15 of 16 and Falcons 13 of 14. A free throw counts two points in summer league play.

Summer league play at Jackson ends next Wednesday.
