Yessir, Mr. Pfloyd. This is quite a year for Peake and Fairland to play 3 times (if that happens). Also, a great way to wrap up the final St. Joe Invitational at Veterans Memorial Fieldhouse. Two river rivals in a hotly contested match...on the wrong side of the river!pfloyd wrote:... Fairland just broke into the Elite 8 this week as well !!! looks like an even BIGGER significance can be attached to the St.Joe Tourney this week if it comes down to FHS vs the 'Peake ...
I think Fairland either won at Chesapeake or won the St. Joe Invitational the last time they met in that tournament's championship game.pantherdad wrote:Yessir, Mr. Pfloyd. I'm thinking chesapeake beat fairland for the sji championship in 08-09 and they split the rest of their meetings, with chesapeake beating them at home for the ovc championshipChesapeake wrote:Found it.
Was 07-08 season and Fairland won the St. Joe Invitational over Chesapeake.
Chesapeake was 2-0 on the right side of the river against Fairland that year.
