It's nearly impossible to rank these and separate on from the other.
Looking at who each defeated and who each lost to might be important.

Just without knowing anything I'd like to know who ND and Eastern have won and lost to.

Notre Dame beat SW in Websters opener. But the jeeps have improved much since then, beating Oak Hill, Burg, East, and Northwest. Losses to Portsmouth, ND and a tough Minford team.

I like your list celticpride, I think you could flip South Gallia, Eastern Pike and Norte Dame in any order.

Thanks for info. Any info on other wins?
Whiteoak has lost to Hillsboro, Eastern Brown, Lynchburg twice, Fairfield and Oak Hill....I think all but one LC game on the road. Whiteoak only has 7 home games I think.
Defeated Manchester

1. Southern 7-1
2. South Gallia 6-2
3. Manchester 6-4
4. South Webster 4-3
5. Farfield 5-5
6. Whiteoak 4-5
7. Eastern Pike 6-3
8. Notre Dame 7-2
The only reason I have Southern ranked higher than South Gallia is because they beat my SG Rebels. TVC is weird this year when Eastern beat Southern, South Gallia beat Eastern by 15, Wahama beat Eastern by 20, and then South Gallia beat Wahama by 30+. I then rank Manchester, South Webster, Fairfield, and Whiteoak next because of strength of schedule. Eastern Pike and ND's losses were to good teams but havent really beat anyone. I hope I dont get bashed to much.

No bashing Future..just some spirited discusion...lol
Your same argument could be used against Southern and South Gallia. There is nobody in your league the caliber of Valley, etc. Eastern did not win those games but I believe Valley and Minford were only 5 point losses. Eastern's beat Notre Dame who beat Webster.
All of this is just speculation anyhow now. I thin the SHL teams are playing a more difficult overall schedule, but Eastern's is tougher than Southern's and South Gallia's IMHO.
Good luck to all teams!

The only thing I got to go with on South Gallia/Eastern is the Symmes Valley game. South Gallia beat Symmes by 35 and Eastern won by 15.

Eastern 65 or 63 (seen posted both ways) Symmes Valley 35
So it was either a 28 0r 30 point win.
I am not knocking S.gallia at all. I remember them from last season and they I believe everyone is back from that team. I am only pointing out that the D3 teams in the TVC hocking are no Valley, Minford, or Piketon.
Notre Dame is a very good club as well. I will be shocked if they you don't see them at the convo in March.

I think Belpre and Federal Hocking would matchup well with Minford or Piketon.
Of the the teams listed in the top 8, I think any could beat the other.
There is not alot of difference 1 through 8.

I would take South Webster, Eastern and Notre Dame against any of the other teams listed in the Top 8 and like my chances. By the time the tourney rolls around, South Webster's strength of schedule will dwarf the rest of D-4 in the SE. Not only will they have played the toughest schedule, but they will also have a nice list of wins, along with a well-above .500 record on their resume. As mentioned above, Eastern and Notre Dame both played some challenging non-league games in addition to their two match-ups head to head (one already in the books).

Not sure dwarf is the right word....but SW plays an excellent tourney testing schedule.
