Since the Seniors from last winter have moved on, who will be the movers & shakers for the Eagles this winter?

Sure hope they have a big improvement from the last few years.

Belpre returns two big men in Ryan Leasure and Brice Pittenger who I have heard has improved a lot over last year.They also return Jake Ullman and Drew Nestor from last years team.I have heard they have a newcomer who has moved to Belpre from N.Carolina and I am hearing that he could be a good player.Some of the players from last years JV team should help them this year.I understand that Dakota Huffman will be coming back out this year after sitting out last year.Could be an interesting year for the Eagles under new coach Thornhill.

Belpre had a scrimmage and I heard from a few players that they won 5 of 6 quarters against river and new boston. I know that pre-season scrimmages dont mean much but it was a confidence booster for some of the players. I think this years team is going to rely on its defense to win them games. They have plenty athletes that could make them a defensivly strong team.

Belpre has a very talented team this year. they have two seniors and one of the kids is new, his name is Phillip Bailey and i have heard good things about him. they also have the new kid from N. Carolina his name is Nick Therriault and he is also suppose to be very talented. Belpre has seven really good varsity kids this year and they also looked very well in their scrimmage they had.
