The Lions are coming off a disappointing loss to my alma mater Hillsboro Indians but they played well!

Eastern Brown and Beucler are never fun to play when they are coming off a loss! I look for Carson to slow it down and play some zone but for Payne and Lawson to have the game that the Warriors have been waiting for.

Not sure where this game is but Eastern in the past has had some success at LEESBURG!

I'm gonna go with the Warriors in this one

61-49

......................and that my friends, is the ugly truth!!!!!!!

Eastern should be pretty good this year but if you have paid attention to the younger classes Fairfield is solid from top to bottom. I say Lions in a big win over Chief Buechler

Ugly Game to watch to say the least.

Very physical contest, hard nosed game. Great defense by both teams.

Eastern missed Lawson (out with injury).

Give Fairfield credit. They took advantage of the situation and made it look easy in the first half.

Beucler made some nice halftime adjustments, played a half court trapping style defense and made a ballgame out of it in the second.

This loss opens up the big school race, Eastern will need a healthy Lawson to compete for the title.

but with Lawson being out , I understand he's a big asset
to ther team , scoring and rebounds!

from what I understand its kind of up in the air. I expect him to be back in the next couple games. Eastern is understandably a different team without him!
