Eagles come into this one 6-4 (5-1), and a tie for first in the league....meanwhile the New Boston Tigers continue to be the most unlucky team in Southern Ohio and set at 0-9 (0-6).This game looks like a blowout on paper but I think anyone who has seen NB knows better than that. The Tigers were within 5 pts with 6min.left in game at Eastern before the Eagles pulled away late.New Boston is the hardest place to win in the league.IMO.I expect a very competitive game with the Eagles holding on for the win 64-58.Go Eagles!!!

NB definitely is a team that don't quit until the final buzzer and beating them at that gym is hard to do. NB will have a hard time with this game but truly believe that they will spoil someones SOC title fight!

Good luck to both teams!

I don't have a dog in this fight but I think Coach Fitch has the the Eagles playing really good ball right now so I will take the Eagles by 6 in a tough one in Tigertown.

I know its hard to play there but we're playing well, and if we dont have any let downs and the boys keep giving that effort like they have been, then we should win easy. Eastern by 15

A big game for the Eagles if they want to keep pace with Western,as I expect them to handle Green at home.Hey I'll be late getting there... can someone in the NB band save me a spot up on top

would love to see NB pull this one out to help East out in the SOC I race but not going to happen. Eastern is too good, but it will be closer than people think.

I want to take Eastern because I think they are a better team but NB's gym is horrible.....May be an upset.

What are the standings in the league...

The Tigers take another top conference team to the wire.

Eastern Eagles 71
Glenwood Tigers 65

The Tigers were down 67-65 with 35 seconds to go!
Great effort again by the Tigers!

Congrats Eagles!

Great Win for us on the road...
But i dont understand why we played slow down ball in the second half when we scored 45 pts in the first half. If we wouldnt have played that style of basketball, we would've won easy.
But way to tough it out and make the free throws when we needed them.

I believe from what is saw in the game tonight, was that eastern slowed the ball down because they were low on guards with helton not playing and thornsberry in foul trouble. Great win tonight eagles, and way to protect the ball and secure it when necessary!

Congrats to the Eagles..a very good ballgame last night at NB.....the Tigers came to play.....Eastern led 41-32 at the half but NB would not go away......49-43 after 3rd,Eastern hit there FT's down the stretch to seal the win......Gotta give credit to Jordan Thornsberry,he really stepped up last night handling NB's pressure with Helton not being able to play.Don't know exact stats but Thornsberry may have led Eastern in scoring.Big win for the Eagles on the road..Always tough at NB.......and NB continues to lose heartbreakers.....there going to beat some people.
