I think there was a board meeting tonight. Was the new bball coach, part of this meeting?

I don't think it was taken down because of the basketball comments.........but there was reference to something else which was not officially confirmed and thus the thread was taken down..........

I don't think anybody's basketball comments were out of line........there have been a lot of opinions and dialogue about this topic........

The anticipation grows daily,it appears someone is wanting to make a big splash with the announcement.

I'll be glad when the announcement is made so all the speculation can end and we can begin to get ready for the 2009-2010 season........we have work to do to get this program turned around........and we can get it turned around!!

It's my understanding that the decision will be announced tomorrow..........for the good of the program, we need to make the choice and go with it..........we shouldn't have to wait any longer for anyone.........we have open gyms to start and summer shootouts to schedule........the shootouts are filling up, so we need to get our kids signed up to play in June............

I have pushed hard for Jeff Lisath to get the job, through contacting the superintendent and the athletic director, but I want to make it perfectly clear that I believe Eugene Collins would be an excellent hire as well..........

My prediction for the next coach: Jeff Lisath or Eugene Collins..........I would be happy to see either lead the Trojans on the hardwood in 2009-2010.

Eugene Collins was interviewed yesterday, and Jeff Lisath was interviewed early this afternoon........either Eugene or Jeff will be the next coach pending board approval........I believe there is supposed to be a board meeting tonight.

is mr. Lisath, interested in going to Portsmouth, or just trying to rise his stock at Piketon?

Like I said on the previous post.....he had said at the Piketon athletic banquet that if he decides he was going to coach it would be at Piketon. HMMMMM

I would be happy to support either of these two fine gentleman as the TROJANS next coach.
