Sectional volleyball games was there last night. I have never been in such a loud gym. I thought OakHills gym was loud...WOW basketball is going to be crazy in that place.

The two gyms were designed by the same company. SG gym maybe the loudest I have every been in.

Does anyone have any pictures?

By far the loudest gym I have ever been in. Gym was about half full on the home side and not many on the away and it was louder than our old gym when it was completely full. Basketball will be crazy and coaches will have a VERY hard time communicating to their players. Especially the away team if the Student Section is behind their bench.

Add that to the scrappy play of the Rebels, and the officiating and it will be tough to win there. Even for Howie.

I count 7 rows of bleachers. There are plenty of gyms who hold more people that are louder, I promise.

The student section should never be behind the visiting bench. Too much can happen with the close proximity of the fans and the visiting team.

It think the student section is going to be on one end. I have been in gyms that are a lot bigger but the way the acoustics in the gym just make the place loud, very loud. The practice gym at the one end adds space and creates the sound problems.

It will be interesting. I do not think anyone expected this.

May have to make a trip down just to see this gym. How many will it hold? Would the Eastern game be a good one to come watch.

The Rebels will play hard no matter who they are playing, so come to any game you would like!!

Im not putting down anyone im just saying South Gallia basketball fans are pretty rowdy!

No this gym may not be very large, but you will be very surprised at how loud it gets. I think it seats around 700.

I hear the bleachers at the one end will not be installed in time for the first girls and boys basketball games.

I have said for a long time now that it wont be until Christmas Break that we see those things in there.
