With a nice win at 'Burg, Waverly will be facing a pretty athletic Minford team. But I'll take Waverly at home by 15. Thoughts on this game?

Waverly by 20. If the Falcons can knock down some shots and pack it in a zone on defense, then this could be closer than some predict.

Da Falcons of Minford probably don't have a chance in this one unless they play with 6. Tigers by 25

Da Falcons, of Minford are way more athletic though. The Tigers will have a tuff time matching up with them.

I thought he just said Waverly by 20??? Anyway, the tigers should win this one fairly Easily. Too much size, and overall basketball talent on the Waverly squad. I'll take them by 25 over the falcons.

Tigers20 is a piece of work. Athleticism is not a sport. Look it up. Read my posts. I said that Minford was one of the few teams that Waverly will play all year that has comparable athletes (running, jumping, etc.). I also said Waverly has clearly better basketball players on their team

I was just having little fun with what you posted the first time around. Allot people had allot of fun with it at the time and have continued to bring it up in conversations. You have been the talk of the town, haha.

It's at Waverly. The next 4 are home with Senior night being on February 5 against Oak Hill.

Not enough said; To correct you eaglenest on January 4th you posted "This will be one of the few games that Waverly plays all year where they are not more ATHLETIC than their opponent." Comparable was never mentioned. You did state that Waverly had better basketball players. Just showing you proof.

Minford more athletic than Waverly? No way. I don't know what you've been doing all season. Waverly is a top notch basketball team with great athletes. Their athleticism is more impressive than what Minford has. Therefore, IMO and many other posters on here, Waverly is more athletic.

The game of basketball is about which team can keep the other from scoring, AKA DEFENSE. Waverly has clearly proven themselves to be the better defensive team this year, and will utilize it to their advantage Friday night. TIGERS BY 22. Good luck to both teams!
