Neither one will show much Tuesday as they get the #2 & #3 seeds in the Southeastern sectional and will have to play each other to get to the District.

It'll get cancelled anyhow. Weather.

They can play Wednesday if it gets cancelled Tuesday. Snow is to stop by Tuesday morning - PLAY THE GAME!

If this game does get played before the tournament why would either show what they have? Martin is closing in on 1,000 points and will no doubt get some but I could see some bench players playing allot in this one. With the way the seeding came out who cares who wins this regular season game at this point?

AGREE. If i was Waverly i would pick the pace up alittle and run the court just to see if Chillicothe tried to slow it down ,or keep up. Just a thought.. Would like to see Martin get his 1000 point any body know how many he needs?

Chillicothe has the Athletes to run with Waverly.

I doubt this game gets played.

I think we will see a little gamesmanship f the game is played. Both coaches will hold back on there A-gameplan but I'm sure both will try a few things just to get some looks at different sets or plays. Honestly, I don't think even the fans will care. Probably will be a very boring game lol.

The rematch on the other hand...

I can't see chilli holding back because a 3 game losing streak can cause the confidence to be shattered. This team has been labled young all year and some times the mind plays tricks on young kids.

They would then have to face a jackson team with their head coach on the sideline this time Chilli did break a close game wide open in the 4th quarter after entering the 4th with a 2 point lead.

Chilli will pull out all stops and win with a buzzer beating dunk from london.

Game is off! Mother Nature got us again.

Waverly's Basketball games have been cancelled until next season. No more school at Waverly until next year.
All sports have been cancelled and school. The principal. I mean superintendent.

Canceling the Huntington game is not good for the points game that Mr. Martlin needs.

Chillicothe called to cancel. This game will likely NOT be made up.
Hopefully we can make up the game with Huntington sometime, even if it's after the tourny.
Martin is about to go over 1,000 points as a Junior and may have a shot at the school record once his career is done. Kretzer will be a 1,000 point scorer as well and may chase Martin's totals. Not playing games is just cheating these young men.

I don't think there is a rule that you can't make up games during or after the tournament.

No there isn't. You can make up a game in between tournament games if you want. Not a bad idea if you have a week or longer off.
