For the past few months I've been working on a documentary about the North Adams team that went to state. You may remember...the one that ended on a controversial call...
We're premiering the documentary at
North Adams High School,
Tuesday, March 16th
7:30pm
Admission is free.
You can see the trailer here:

I'm sure it will be really good, you did a great job on the Peebles documentary. Can't wait to see it, I love basketball history. Hope the NA fans enjoy it as much as our community.

This North Adams Team, beat a good Chesapeake Team in regional finals.Chesapeake had the ball with 15 seconds to go in the game, and a 1 point lead,NA got a steal and was fouled on a lay up attempt.I think the players name was Copas.I left the Convo that night very sad,but i think this was one of the greatest basketball games i ever seen.

This team was also down 18 points to Belpre in the 4th quarter and came back to win it.

As someone who only heard of "the shot" it was great to learn about one of the greatest teams in Southern Ohio history. It's incredible how late that shot was (left his hand 1.3 seconds after the horn) and that they still counted it. Great job of breaking down this game as well as the district semi-final against Belpre (NA was down 18 with 7:30 left in the game before making a great comeback to win).
Ryan Arey did a fantastic job in making this documentary...Now, if we can just get him to do one on the entire history of North Adams Basketball (boys and girls)!!!!

Great job Ryan! This is something to be proud of! It shows the importance of getting behind the players as a community and supporting them no matter what!
