Hard place to play for a lot of Belpre players 1st game.I think this years Cadets team will be streaky. When they knock down the trey they will win by 20 plus and when they don t it will be a dog fight.

Reshawn will need to play lights out in this one..Nestor and Francis struggled last season vs FFs JV.Waderker is going to need to show he can add a 2nd scorer.Miller was 7th man last season and this year will be a go to guy that's a big jump.

Nestor(jr) has improved tremendously along with Miller(sr). Waderker(sr) is ready for any challenge this year as well as seen on last years team. They also have Sellers(sr) who is a great defensive player and big man coming in to help the Eagles out. Ullman(fr) and Leasure(soph) are going to be factors as well. This game will not be one sided.

Belpre had the ego's and all the talent in the world last year and could only produce a sub-par .500 season. This year, they lost all of the ego's except one and lost all the talent. Just an opinion, but I think they will play .500 again this year because they have moved down to the Hocking division. Cadet's should handle Eagles with ease on their own court. Watch out for Garrett Lagrean (sp) to have a big game if his mind is set.

Yes Garrett Legrean has improved a lot including making the Vegas team this summer. He has a great chance to be PVC POY.Also Eddie Watson came up big after coming off injury last year he returned in january to score 10 points a game.Knocking down big 3 pointers in the tourney win over 16-4 Shenandoah.I think FF will take this one by 15 or so.

Belpre is going to be a real aggressive and fast paced team so expecting them to lose by 15 is too much of a deficit and i just don't see the game being won by double digits

RangerX7,let me give you a scouting report on Cody Sellers. I saw all the fr. games he played in when he was at Warren. He is not big or strong, has no shot, can be a great cherry picker because he plays NO DEFENSE, has a big ego and is a hot head. I did not see him playing with Belpre this summer at Parkersburg. So he has not played in two years. He will not be a factor at Belpre. Fort Frye will eat him alive. Nothing against Mr. Sellers, just what I saw when he was at Warren.

These kids can have a lot of changes in their strength, speed and overall game in three years so you know nothing about Cody or how he will play for Belpre this year. Why don't you hold your judgements and opinions until you see him play.Better yet why don't you just keep your opinions to yourself.

Didn't pay much attention to the scores but I believe Belpre won 3 of the 4 quarters. All were pretty close with both teams using a lot of players and combinations. Hard to judge anything by the first scrimmage should see a lot more Friday at scrimmage with Caldwell

Terrible that I have to say this, but, could they get much worse? From how they've been the past couple years, the only way to go is up.

Belpre and Caldwell had a 7 quarter scrimmage and it was pretty even all around.Score by quarters:
Belpre 12 14 19 8 15 14 13
Caldwell 5 14 8 9 20 13 14
JV
Belpre 12 8
CaLdwell 12 14
Belpre senior Rashawn Miller didn't play last 4 quarters due to Hip bruise.
