Meigs Eastern to visit GAHS Wednesday

Meigs Eastern (1-6) will visit Gallipolis Gallia Academy (3-5) in a non-league triple-header Wednesday on the GAHS court at Centenary. The freshman game starts at 5 p.m.

Eastern is averaging 50 points per game and giving up 52.7. Gallipolis is averaging 54.5 ppg and giving up 54.8.

Haven't seen eastern play so can't comment on them . Gallia has improved the last 2-3 games albeit against weak teams . Ill give us the nod here just because we are on a roll and that easterns record has not been favorable so far.

Eastern is a little better than their record shows. They should compete tonight. Win- maybe not but it should be a good game

Gallia played the bench entire 4th qtr. and faired on the boards well. eastern has some athletic kids , need to just put it all together . Gallia is improving in their ability to make shots that they were not early in the year. Big test Friday vs Portsmouth
