Re: Week 6 AP Boys Basketball Poll
How is it that some of these schools have 20-1 or 19-2 records? I thought you could only play 20 regular season games in Ohio.

I'm not a real big fan of the poll....but I'm glad to see the SE represented, especially my beloved Piketon Redstreaks that debut at #11.

Come on Jimmy, anything that gives our beloved Streaks props has to be good.
Hope Streaks win out this weekend and climb higher. It will be tough. Both games will be tough as we make the annual trip to The Township where we historically haven't faired well and then Peebles comes calling this year after last season there The Indians gave it to us. Saturday will be senior night at The Oven and that has always been a bittersweet night for The Chef and The Redstreak Nation. We've seen a lot of very good players make that last curtain call over the last several years and Coach L makes it his last one too after 9 fabulous seasons and many a vivid memory. Then the a cappella National Anthem is the icing on the cake. Starting lineups at The Oven raises the hairs on the back of The Chefs neck and on senior night a tear in the eye.
Go Streaks!

Ironton is getting some respect with the ranking but they need to show just how good they are when it's Tournament time and I think they will
