Athens by 11, Sheridan could make it interesting though

If the coach acts like an empty chair, this will get ugly in Athens favor. If he tries to intervene, it could get interesting.

Sheridan could easily come away with this win. Joey Palmer is going to need to stay out of foul trouble.

Sheridan is not going to come away with this win, and certainly not "easily."

Watched Sheridan last night against Fairfield Union, if they play like that against Athens, it's gonna get ugly quick

Buck, I never said they WOULD win at all. What i meant to insinuate is that Sheridan is more than capable of beating Athens. That doesn't mean Athens won't come out and win by 20, it just simply means that the Generals are good enough to play a good game and beat the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs overlook the Generals and lose 58-54.

This should be a great game if Sheridan shows up! I'm taking Athens by 10 though.

Athens wins by 15 or more. Athens players are tournament tested (football). Coach Skinner will do a great job as always!!!

I watched Sheridan Tuesday, they are very quick on the perimeter and very athletic ... This could end up being one heck of a game ... Athens can't get into foul trouble trying to contain the big fella for Sheridan underneath, if they do, it could spell trouble for the Bulldogs with their lack of depth ... The Generals play tight man-to-man defense, which means Burrow won't be roaming free around the arc like he does versus teams who play zone. He will have to earn his points driving to the basket or posting up his man, which he is very capable of doing ... The key for Athens will be sophomore Griffin Lutz, if Sheridan tries to play up in his face like they did versus FFU point guard - he will have a hay day driving to the basket.
Good luck to both teams
if you can't make it, the game will air live on 970WATH or via the internet at 970wath.com

Sheridan only has 7 losses because of injuries. Not very deep but they do have athletic wing players in Dupler, Dupler and Fox and a nice big in Joey Palmer. If Generals stay out of foul trouble this one could be real fun.

If the coach stays out of the way, and listens to the ex OU coach, Athens will run away with this. If he gets in the way, or refuses to listen, Sheridan has a chance. Now, if those "danged Glouster refs" have the game, then all bets are off.

I don't think it was injuries that caused Sheridan to lose twice to John Glenn.

Didn't mean it that way I'm sorry what I meant was they would not be a 7 loss team if they weren't so banged up probably 4 loss team if healthy.
