Go RV!!!!!.......not for sure how many times we would have had to beat NY to be a higher seed than them.......but RV CAN BEAT ALEX......if they play together and show effort on defense.....imo....to ALEX's credit.....they are good on defense.....

I totally agree RV should have gotten a higher seed than NY.

In this game however, I see a real match-up issue for RV. I am saying Alexander by 25. I just don't see how RV can score enough to win this game.

Alexander finished the season 11-11, and while we played competitive basketball against some good teams, I think the best team we beat this year may have been River Valley (other than beating Vinton County in a 70% FG percentage game).

River Valley has been up and down this year, but the match up with the Spartans is a real issue for them. What Alexander does well bothers RV and I am not sure if RV can score enough to win this game. The game needs to be played in the 40's for RV to have a chance.

I look for Alexander to win by 15+, 55-40.

RV played one of....if not it's best games of the year......our big got several touches in the paint.....and played big......RV had 14 turnovers...according to my napkin stats....which was well below their average......overall team effort on defense......very proud Raider
