Waverly's Downtown Arena Bleacher Boards Being Sold

The bleachers are being dismantled and removed to make way for the new ones. A price has not been determined yet but the boards are being sold. Own a piece of history and support the renovation of this historic basketball facility, still the best around.

Just curious....Does Waverly play all of their homes games in the "downtown arena"? Do they practice at the new high school?

Boys practice and play at the downtown arena. Girls practice and play at the school. Both have excellent facilities to call their own.

Please tell me they aren't replacing these with plastic bleachers..The wood bleachers were one of the things that made that place special.Unless they had a bunch of cracks in them(which I never saw) I don't see the point in changing..They looked to be in pretty good shape for 40+ year old bleachers.Try getting 40+ years out of the plastic.
