Notre Dame is 5 - 0. They are a good defensive team this year keeping teams in the 20's and low 30's. That will obviously be challenged in the coming weeks against some very good teams.
I know that Western is also undefeated early on this season --- this should be a nice match up Friday.

How is Trevon Turner doing so far in the early going?

Western will have to play very well to win at ND. Titans size will hurt the Indians.

Western will have to hang onto the ball. They have struggled in ND's gym the past several years. They (ND) are very quick, and do a great job trapping, and getting steals. If we can keep the to's down, we should be able to compete. Not worried about the size as much as I am playing under contol against an excellent defensive team. Have to be able to beat their press before you even think about scoring the basket. I feel the team has enough scorers, just concerned about the ball handling vs the press. Should be a great game if Western can play under control. Thats easier said than done. Needs to be their best performance for sure.

The significance if this game has lost its value for Indian fans in the wake of Junior point guard Nick Shanks losing his niece Macie late last night. Everyone had been cheering on Macie who was born a few short weeks ago with a heart defect.

Dont know how this game turns out but it sure seems small at this point.

Proud of the boys for not packing it in before this one started. Turned the ball over too much. If Shanks plays tonight its a a different ball game. Thinking if their family tonight.
