Anyone know if Jackson has a radio station that will be streaming the game?
Athens will not be on 970 ... The Ohio State Buckeyes vs USC is on instead.

They should have moved game times up 2 hrs like NY did. Go Bucks / Dogs!

Should be a great game. Looking forward to this one. If Jackson can keep Athens off the O glass, they can win this game

I'd say it had more to do with Ohio State. Lol
Hope not

Athens administration chose not to travel due to possible weather issues.

Is this a definite fact Ironman? If so, that's disappointing. And I hope like hell it had nothing to do with a meaningless OSU bowl game.

It’s all over social media. Even worse there is no make up date? What a joke. Either cancel a month ago or at least have a make up date.

Why didn't Jackson want to play at 4pm? Everyone knew it was going to snow at 9pm

What social media? Official Athens admins or just speculation? Not questioning you, I just want to know for sure.

Raider, if you're saying Athens asked Jackson to push the freshman game up to 4:00, when did this get asked? Because if if were for an OSU bowl game that means squat, well how long have people known the bowl game was today? 3 weeks, 4 weeks? Ridiculous that a meaningless bowl game would factor into a high school basketball game possibly having game time adjusted. Not everyone lives, eats and breathes buckeye football, smh.

What would starting at 4:00 help? Freshman tip at 4:00 and get done a couple minutes after 5:00...JV warm up and then JV tip around 5:20. JV ends near 6:30....varsity warm up, anthem, announcing of line ups...varsity tip about 6:55....if everything goes smoothly all 3 games (no injuries, excessive fouls, excessive timeouts, no overtimes)....varsity game ends 8:15. Kids to locker room, sign out, change assemble on bus, roll call—bus on Rt 32 8:30. But snow here in Jackson (maybe even enough to cover the road)before that. That first layer of snow is dangerous! Kids on a bus for 40 miles during snow? Sounds very negligent. And no make up date!!!! Awesome!
Athens canceled this game before the first snowflake. Jackson is not the blame.

At least neither team will win or lose at this time not have beaten a team with a winning record.
This could play into each teams favor.
Both need the nice win for seeding.

Athens 3-6 so that wouldn’t help Jackson not beating a .500 team
