With the win over Wellston tonight, VC wins the TVC-Ohio outright for the third year in a row. Congrats for all they’ve been able to accomplish through the adversity and injury but they’ve faced all year

yawn. Another VC championship.

Congratulations to Coach Combs & the Vikings on being the 2017-18 TVC -Ohio Champs ! ... a tough, tough season if you are a VC fan - soooooo many injuries to fight through right from Pre-Day 1 with both Yate's out of the lineup due to injuries ... both make it back in time for Eli Griffith to go down for a lengthy time ... when the projected lineup finally ended up on the floor together Jake Speakman went down with an injury ! unbelievable - both that the injury bug set up camp in McArthur AND that the Vikings were able to piece enough "pieces" together to STILL win the TVC -Ohio ... a great accomplishment when ALL odds were against TEAM VC this season ... good stuff guys ! congratulations - pfloyd ...

I see no reason for anyone to say that this will be Combs last year. I would be totally shocked if this was true.

Next year will be first year his team is not a favorite to win TVC...

VC will still contend for the title next year. Have some solid players returning and several from JV that will have an impact. VC might have been favored the past few years, but when Burrow and the Luherman brothers were at Athens, I'm pretty sure they were favored those years.

I think VC can order a 2018 TVC championship banner now . The Vikes are head and shoulders above everyone else in the league .

VC did what was expected in a very weak TVC Ohio . Healthy they are head and shoulder the best team . Yates and Speakman are the lead players for POY and Coach Combs COY. Vikings will make it to the CONVO IMO.

Jealousy. Period. It's nice to have people talk about you. Good or bad. To be honest, this VC team was mediocre yet we STILL managed to win the TVC. Must be frustrating to be the biggest school in the conference yet still can't win the crown most years. This isn't football.
