Garaway is a very offensive minded team. They want to run and gun and speed the game up. They surround themselves with four shooters and one kid, whose name I can't remember, who is a rebounding machine! He has had over 20 rebounds each of his district games.

My husband and I have enjoyed watching the Carroll Brothers from Oak Hill. We will be back at the helm cheering them onto victory. We have a lil tomcat blood at oak hill as the football coach is a Trimble Graduate. GO OAKS!!!

If Oak Hill plays their usual methodical game, and shoots well from the perimeter, they can win this game. From the one game I've seen of the Oaks (Paint Valley), they seem to rely a lot on perimeter shooting. That can be a part of the game that is very unpredictable, but OH has lost only 2 games, so what they're doing is working.

I can tell you a little bit about Garaway,our bitter league rival,the Roden boy at 6'3" is a beast on the boards, Donaldson 5'11",E.Miller 6'1",Shaffer 5'11" all can shoot the three with the best,can go 7or 8 deep, very offensive minded team, average around 65 a game, been on a roll since the tournament started, tell me a little about Oak Hill

Oak Hill's tallest starter is 6-4, the rest of the starters are around 6-0 to 6-2. They seem to rely a lot on perimeter shooting, and in most of the games they have played they top out at 60 points. They are fundamentally sound and constantly move without the ball, creating space for those open looks from the perimeter. They don't have a deep bench, but to this point they have lost only 2 games playing 6 maybe 7 players.

I might add that The OAKS coach has won a ton of games thru the years. Hasn't he coached over 600 wins?

Oak Hill's Norm Persin has won over 700 games in his Hall Of Fame career, with a state championship in D4 in 2009, beating Kalida. Garaway has been one of the East district's most consistently winning programs, and has made multiple appearances in the Athens regional, winning it twice in 2003 and 2008, finishing state runnerup both years.

Come tournament time Garaway seems to step up there game,they did play Harvest Prep back in early December lost 93-62, I'm afraid it's Harvest Prep and the rest in this regional
