Southern will have to make some major adjustments in order to hang in this game. I believe Southern will have to play great defensively and take good shots on the offensive side of the floor in order to stay in this game.

Howie wannabe left Eastern to take job at Meigs.
Howies nephew is still coaching at Southern.

Southern has very little depth, I believe that is what cost them the game against Meigs. Fairly evenly matched but Meigs was able to keep fresh legs on the floor.

Southern actually had two starters with 3 fouls by halftime against Meigs. Officiating doesn't favor Southern at home anymore. Don't think it has for quite some time. Maybe back in the old gym.

I heard Eastern was installing an inbounds play for this game and they decided to call it the hook and ladder since that is a sure way to beat Southern.

Officials at Southern have always sucked.

It was good to hear that Pat ran a trick play to beat them pickers. I remember how embarrassing it was when the Tomatoes ran trips and we didn't know how to adjust, so it's good to get that monkey off Eastern's back. Now for roundball, is Howie's boy still coaching at Southern? I heard he was wanting out, but then didn't hear for sure if he left or not. Asking for a friend.

I was told he was really after that Meigs job. But that Bartrum was really wanting it too so not sure if he ended up there as an asst or what.
