Eagles go to Latham for an always interesting county rivalry game on Friday. Sneaky good game. Western will be ready as Eastern is gonna get everyone's best shot in league play all year. I think Fitch will have Western ready and they will compete,but I'll take Eastern by 12

Am I hearing right that Eastern had a kid quit this past week?

Either way this should be a great game by two very solid teams. IMO Eastern does not want to get into a track meet with Western. I would say they are a little deeper. However at there best EASTERN does have the better all around starting 5. This one should be entertaining.

Always a fun game that could go either way, regardless of records or talent. I think it'll be something like:

Eastern 58
Western 50

Eastern should win thjs game . Love to see the Indians upset the eagles but the best point guard and center are wearing an eastern jersey . Fitch will have the Indians playing hard and ready and it will be a competitive game with eastern pulling away in the 4th is my prediction .

I’m going with the Indians at home! Western is a tough place to play! Plus Western is a very talented team. Brewster & Humphrey is as good as you will find! Add a 6’5” forward (Jordan) and they have to be the team to beat at home.

Western by 12. I can’t see Eastern winning this game folks. The maverick kid for Western is a great player and he will be the X factor in this one

Well I can definitely see Eastern winning? They are the favorite to win the league. I definitely think this will be a close game but to say you cant see them winning? Come on. Anyway the Maverick kid can be a solid player. Can really shoot it, and with his length and size he just looks like a player. I would love to see him breakout this year. The additional scoring from him and Jordan are crucial to the Indians season. I think they could have a good year if the role players contribute along with the scoring of Alex and Lane.

Leist and Miller is as good of combo as you can get in the league. Like watching them play, but I hope the Indians can come away with the W.

I'm guessing there will be a big crowd for this one per usual when these two play.. should be a great atmosphere tonight.

I can’t see anybody holding Western in the 40’s at home let alone in the 30’s. Too many shooters and too many kids that can play off the dribble. Western hit 10 or 11 3-pointers their last game and I “think” that was on the road!! It should be interesting in Latham.

I don't believe so. 100.1 is covering Piketon and 100.9 Waverly

Maybe someone can give those stations the address for western and eastern school. They get the short end of the stick regularly in Pike County.

Good to.see Hoggy checking in on the Eagles! Very solid road win indeed. Eastern led throughout,but Western made runs to cut lead down to 2 at one point. Eastern made free throws down the stretch to seal the win.Miller led the way for Eastern with 22points,Cochenour hit three big 3s and had 13 total, Weaver had 11 and played well I thought. Leist chipped in 7, including hitting key free throws late, also did a great job handling Westerns pressure. Parker Clemmons got the start and played great defense and hustled all night. Eastern improved to 4-1(3-0).

When 100.9 does cover the Eastern games when Waverly is off does any other Eastern fans kinda of feel that the one of the announcers (not gonna mention a name) seems to always be in favor of the other team?
