Was thinking on this some last night but didn’t check actual brackets for accuracy. What’s your league’s record so far?

SVC 4-8

SHAC 10-7

SHAC Small 5-3

OVC 8-5

SOC 2 9-5

I assume you’re combining the SOC 1 & 2? That really shouldn’t be. Other than the conference name and some administration stuff the 2 conferences are totally separate in basketball (and most sports).

I think the SVC had four wins.
ZT two wins. PV beat somebody in their first game.
Piketon beat SVC foe Huntington.

Whatever, it was not good.

Unfortunate for SOC 2 that Webster/Valley and Burg/Minford met in district semis which guaranteed the league a loss in each.

Nonetheless, SOC 2 has had a strong season and tournament with having a representative in the D2, D3, and D4 district finals.

I see what you are saying. I agree with you as well (I have argued the same), but playing devils advocate here. It also guarantees the league a win in each. I hate it in the sectional, but it seems great in a district final or even better in a regional final!

Looks like the OVC is guaranteed to have a District Champion again, this year!!!
