Should be a good dose of basketball in the MSL-Buckeye this season. Who will reign supreme when its all said and done?
Logan Elm- Tanner Holbert will be the key scorer and the Braves should be solid and Coach Stiverson whos in his 24th season, always gets the best from his kids
Bloom- How good will the Bulldogs be with new coach Ryan Davis coming in from the Peake?
Circleville- Should be Coach Carpenter's best group to date. Lots of experience returning for the Tigers
Fairfield Union- Senior Ted Harrah was named second team Southeast District honors, Junior Caleb Schmelzer was third team and Senior Brennen Rowles was honorable mention in 2021-22. Good core back for the Falcons
Hamilton Twp- Junior Brad McCarty should be the go to for the Rangers
Teays Valley- Luke Sachs is a player to watch for TV and Sam Miller. Both Juniors
Amanda CC- Aces look to improve from 2021-22.

Fairfield will be a monster this year. Bloom, Logan elm, TV, and circleville will battle for 2nd. Heard the LE kid - Holbert - is hurt and probably won’t play until late December or January. TV supposedly has 2 hotshot freshmen coming in and may contribute. One or both are kids who were held back a year or 2 before middle school and look more like sophs or jrs physically. They might be interesting to watch and see if they live up to the hype.

... was this confirmed - Tanner Holbert out for the first portion of the season due to injury???? ... I haven't seen anything posted anywhere else saying how LE is doing in the scrimmages etc.

... thanks openpost ! hate to hear/read about the injuries - Tanner is an outstanding player, as Coach Stiverson said in the article - they'll need to pick up the slack at the defensive end, others will need to fill more offensive roles - ALL of which in the end as the others work their way back into playing shape in Jan & Feb will be big time PLUSES for the Braves ... on the positive side - the defensive philosophy has ALWAYS been there! there is no changing of mind set with players - if you are going to play for Coach Stiverson and Coach Holbert ... YOU WILL PLAY Defense ... looking forward to seeing this edition of LE ...

LE looked solid vs VC from what I saw. Solid at both ends. Holbert is a big loss but the Braves will be fine.
